I think that this case is a good value for the money. I like that it is available in several colors. The blue is attractive, suitable for a man or a woman. Some people have commented that it smells. It does smell like shoe polish/new leather at first. But that disappeared overnight. I have 2 quibbles. First, it is open at the top. The iPad fits tightly, but it is possible that if I dropped it, the iPad would fall out. Second, there is a nice fitting tab with a magnetic closure but the tab gets in the way when I have the case open. I could tuck the tab away but I think that will lead to premature wear of the tab. I chose this case because it is slim and it fits nicely in my purse. I might have chosen to pay twice as much for the Mar Ware Eco Vue because it solves the 2 quibbles I have with the Case Crown. But, what can I say, I wanted a color!
