I love this case. I purchased it before my ipad arrived, and loved it from the minute I pulled it out of the packaging. (BTW, the packaging alone was very impressive for this lovely leather case). The color is beautiful (I got red) and it is real pebbled leather with suede interior – very soft. There is light padding which offers good protection, and the elastic band on the inside of the case provides a place to hold my charging cable or is great to help hold on to the Ipad when in use.
THe only problem I have (which is picky) is that the red stain used on the suede has discolored my charging cord a little bit. THis is the leather on the inside of the band on the case. This is very picky, and really doesn’t cause any harm. But I thought I would mention just in case.

I`ve had mine for a few weeks now and think it is well worth the money. I haven`t had any problems with my Ipad slipping out of the case, as a matter of fact I always take my Ipad out of the case to charge it and it does not slide out easy. I would buy this case again in a second.
Love the quality and price of this but, the top of the case is not secure and my 500$ iPad can fall out. Will try to exchange for a more secure case.
