It’s hard enough finding a case for the new iPad I was lucky that Amazon was able to ship pretty quickly. The iPad is just too slippery and scratching that beautiful brushed aluminum back would be too much. Thanks for making the device so fragile Mr. Jobs.
So let’s get down to the review itself….comes packaged in a thin box with the cover, screen protector and a microfiber cloth as well as small squeegee for the screen. Taking it out of the box I said to myself, this thing has some heft to it but it feels fantastic. It is soft and smooth, “almost” feels slippery but you quickly get used to it. It is molded on the inside with small holes to lighten it up, great idea and gives it a spongier feel to grip.
Fits great, holes line up, not dockable but easy to peel back bottom and put on dock with 65% of the case still attached. Now I can set my iPad down without scratching it. Pretty durable also, my iPad leapt from atop the Kleenex box on the end table to the wood floor according to my 5 year old daughter and was no worse for the wear just a solid bounce or two. It’s thick enough on the edges to hold the screen up away from the surface you are setting it on.
If I had one complaint it would be the case could be a tad tighter. Because of the size of the iPad when you are holding it the sides tend to roll off. I have found this issue on almost all cases that use the soft silicone until you get to a harder durometer silicon or rubber but it is harder to manipulate the iPad in and out of.
Overall good case, I picked up for [...] which I think is the perfect price for this, any more for a piece of silicone is pushing it.
What I expected, I knew the material would attract stuff. The only complaint would be that it is slightly too loose fitting.
Product is not bad, however, the product picks up dirt and easily comes off when you do not want it to…
I like it. It feels great & makes it easier to hold the iPad. It’s stiffer than I thought; it doesn’t come off as easily as I thought, based on the other reviews, and so far I haven’t had any problems with it coming off unintentionally. My only complaint is that the rotation lock switch is very hard to use with the case on.
