Great Drive. Has done exactly what I wanted. I have a new Mac Mini and have had this IOMega drive on it for a month. The only issue I see is heat. It gets warm which is contrary to the cool and energy efficient nature of the Mac Mini. 4 stars for great performance and cannot give 5 due to heat.

A proper stackable device with 2 terabt cap. Hispeed Firewire and a neat work area are other pros.

For a stackable storage device with usability on PC n Mac, minimax proves to be a gud one. I use it mostly as a multimedia store. Coz there are plenty of 1 TBs and 2 TBs I already have and most of them are labeled religiously, for identification, as each is assigned for something specific. This minimax 2 TB has an on-off switch too. Using it for time machine as well. I have used Seagate and western digital too, earlier but they rarely lasted beyond 6 months or a few weeks….I currently have many of iomega hdrives and they have been peaceful, rarely any issues….sometimes get warm sooner but that’s about it.
