The case itself is a gorgeous shade of aqua blue, and is as vivd as the picture suggests. Easily put together, and very sturdy. The only thing that is a bit annoying is that on the top lid, when you go to open your screen, it always lifts up and separates from the screen. Only the four corners have the snap in to hold the case, so in between those corners, it you grab it, it’s lifts up. It’s gotten to the point where I just lift my screen using the corners because it was too much of a hassle to constantly be snapping the screen back in. The screen can open past 90 degrees, and that is a definite plus because with most cases, you can’t open all the way. There is excellent ventilation on the bottom part of the case, so my Mac has not overheated once. Overall, I would highly recommend this case to anyone looking for protection on their Mac!
The mCover from iPearl is certainly impressive when you first snap it on. It looks sleek and feels like it is doing a good job protecting the Macbook Pro. My last macbook was put through hell over the years and I’m hoping this case will prevent the same outcome. So far I’m optimistic. The two complaints I have are small. With the new magsafe adaptor design, when the chord goes off along the backside of the computer, it barely makes a connection due to the case lifting it slightly from the port. If I turn it the other way, the chord is blocking the ethernet port. Second complaint is the case removes the ability to tilt the screen back the last 15-20 degrees or so. Not a deal breaker by any means. The amount it does go back is perfect in the majority of positions anyway.
In the end I would buy the mCover a second time if needed.
My already great looking computer now is even more gorgeous and protected! I got a new laptop and needed to get a new cover for 2 reasons, 1) for added protection and 2) to make it stand apart from others in class. I looked at ones by Speck at the store and felt they were overpriced, so I came to Amazon to see how much they cost here. THAT is when I discovered mCovers! For half the price they have the same (if not better) protection and a great variety of colors! I also loved the fact that they have little feet on them to angle it when using it on a table top and to help ventilate and keep the computer running cooler while I work… 2 BIG bonuses for me! I chose Aqua and its even better looking than it appears on the computer! Would I buy one again?!? Definitely… though I don’t think I’ll need to for a while because it fits perfectly and is made of good quality materials!

I bought this product right after I purchased my MacBook Pro for fear of scratching or ruining the appearance of my brand new toy! This cover does exactly that, keeps my laptop protected from scratches and other imperfections! It was super easy to put on and the feet on the bottom are great for helping with ventilation.I use them constantly to keep air flowing and the laptop cool. My favorite part would be the keyboard cover I purchased as well from the same company, ipearl. It catches all the dirt and dust and keeps my keys free of debris! Two thumbs up! Love it!
