I tried to save a few buck with these off- brand adaptors…. not one single one of the cheapo adaptors works consistently. They are unreliable at best… if you accidentally tap your computer or remove your headphones, the monitor goes blank. After switching to the real apple adaptors I have ZERO connection problems.
It worked three days. It took me some time and money to figure out that this adapter was the problem. If you intend to use it frequently, I suggest to get the original ones.
