This case is amazing! I was going to buy it from the Apple store for $49.99 but really didn’t want to spend that much on a case so I found it on Amazon and saved some money. It is EXACTLY what is in the store. Its VERY easy to apply and take off and it protects it like it says it does. I HIGHLY reccommend this product to anyone who wants to protect their MAC from scratches and whose interested in the Speck case at Apple but would like to save some money!
Perfect for keeping the Macbook case free from scratches and other damage, and great for personalizing your Mac and making it stand out in a crowd. Clips on fine and remains firmly attached, fits like a glove and all the ports and DVD drive are accessible without removing it.
There was nothing technically wrong with the product, but beware that it does not fit the Aluminum Body 13# Macbook. Otherwise, I am sure it is an awesome case.
I bought this for my daughter’s back-to-school laptop. She chose it (I suspect) as a “fashion accessory” because she likes pink, and I was a little reluctant to spend the money on a cheap snap-on piece of plastic.
I was in error; this case fit like a dream, and it doesn’t impair access to any of the ports on the MacBook in any way. Speck has done a terrific job of making the fiddly little tabs almost invisible, but perfectly placed so as to tightly grip the polycarbonite shell of the laptop while offering scratch-resistant protection.
When this one gets scuffed up, I will definitely be ordering another. But, based on how well it’s been holding up for the first month, that purchase is far in the future.
