The only good thing about this is the cool blue LED lights.
Should’ve read the description more closely – thought I could use this on my lap because my Dell Inspiron 17″ laptop heats up like the Sahara Desert.
There are 3 small fans that are just ear candy – doesn’t do anything to cool the laptop.
The worst part is the 4 rubber pads that holds the computer in place couldn’t handle my laptop’s weight and quickly lost their adhesive bound to the base and I had to superglue them back.
Basically this is good for the desktop to raise the keyboard angle, look cool at night, and add noise to your room/office.
this laptop cooler is so cheap, it lasted about 5 days. u get what you pay for!
This caught my attention right away because it is one of the few with cool LED lights and because it was cheap. It is a piece of junk with blue LEDs that’s it. The plastic is flimsy and cheap and could easily snap. Two of the 4 “rubber” stoppers were already off and lying in the box when I first opened it (they are not rubber they are cheap styrofoam material). The label that says USB fan (what a great name huh?) was peeling off when first opened. The USB cord will not stay in properly, it wiggles around and is not secure. There is no bottom to this cooler the wired are exposed and the ONLY way you can use this is on a hard flat surface. You cannot use it on your lap or even on a couch. The plastic is so weak that it bends and the fans touch your legs and stop moving and make a loudd sound. I never write reviews but I’ve never been this disappointed in a product I had to let anyone know that is planning on buying it because of the “cool lights”, DON’T DO IT!!! unless you want a cheap piece of junk that it useless and seems as if it was put together by a general tech class at a high school, and maybe that’s giving it a little too much credit.
when i got it was broken the screws were broken and lose in the package. didnt seem like shipping damage. the lights were cool but thats the only thing good about it.
I tried 3 other products prior to buying this one and hands down it is the best. It’s very sturdy, quiet and reasonably priced and I love the cool lights. What more could you ask for in a cooling pad? I’ve bought a second one for a new lap top we just purchased.
